Virellan Live Edge Solid Wood Coffee Table
Virellan Live Edge Solid Wood Coffee Table
Design & Style
The Virellan Coffee Table is a bold expression of organic artistry, pairing a thick live edge tabletop with a sculptural flowing base inspired by the smooth erosion of natural rock formations and winding river currents. The uninterrupted curves beneath the tabletop create dramatic negative space, giving the substantial solid wood construction a surprisingly light and fluid appearance.
Rooted in Organic Modern design, Virellan embraces the imperfect beauty of nature while maintaining a refined contemporary presence. The expansive live edge slab preserves the authentic contours of the tree, allowing every natural curve, grain pattern, and edge to remain visible. The result is a statement coffee table that functions equally as handcrafted furniture and sculptural art.
Material & Craftsmanship
Virellan is handcrafted entirely from premium solid hardwood, carefully selected for its remarkable grain movement, rich natural coloration, and exceptional durability. Each live edge slab is individually chosen to showcase the wood's authentic character while maintaining its original flowing silhouette.
The sculptural pedestal base is meticulously carved by skilled artisans into smooth interconnected forms that provide outstanding structural stability while enhancing the table's artistic presence. Every surface is hand-sanded and finished to accentuate the natural depth, figure, and warmth of the hardwood. No veneers, engineered wood, or composite materials are used. Every Virellan Coffee Table is crafted entirely from genuine solid wood, ensuring each piece is completely unique.
